NGONE CREATIONS
Ngone is the Senegalese born artist behind Ngone creations. She moved to Paris in the nineties where she served as an apprentice for various craftsmen who were involved in wax sculptures and high fashion accessory making. She furthered her training by enrolling, in 2001, at the Nicholas Flamel High School of Jewerly Design in Paris. Ngone Creations’ unique jewelry can be seen in private and international exhibitions in Paris, Tokyo, Dakar & London.
She has also created one-off pieces for the French cinema as well as Haute-Couture designers such as Christain Lacroix. Ngone draws inspiration from the intersection of cosmopolitan cultures. Her pieces can be best described as a fusion of Pan European and African blends as she mixes African material or stones such as cowries or Agathe of Mail with European styles & textures. Her accessories reflect the emotions of the people regardless of their cultures, classes or ethnic background.
Ngone transfer her vision by combining contrasting materials, blending harmoniously leathers, faux-fur, crystals and other semi-precious stones, enriched by embroidered and colourful and sensuous fabrics/textures (silks, natural feathers, etc…). Her pieces are versatile, unique and all guaranteed for life.
